This fantastic concert was held on Saturday 24th of June in Umborne Hall and was supported by 68 people who thoroughly enjoyed the singing and guitar playing, especially by Russell’s brother Brian. Lots of singing along to some great songs from our younger days.
Russell adds: “Just wanted to say a very big thank you to all who attended the music night last Saturday and helped it become such a success. What a great Valley welcome from the audience. I know how much the performers appreciated it. We were able to raise over £200.00 for the hall funds so a big thank you to Teresa and David for all their work behind the bar. The food seemed quite popular as we were left with very little pasta and not a single sausage or wedge of tart. Big thanks to head chef Guy and those who contributed in the kitchen. For anyone interested, Jester B will be back on September 17th to perform at Millers Farm when they host the French Market. Very best regards to all, Russell.”
