MEETING OF THE UMBORNE HALL TRUSTEES
At Umborne Hall
Wednesday 21st August 2013 7.30pm
Present: Neville Cheeseman, Paul Galloway, Liz Gosling, Eleanor Wood, John Pearce, Rob Summers, Teresa Wilmington-Wills, Sue Gush.

It was mentioned that, as there was no BBQ for the Duck Dash, then maybe we could have one at the next Free Friday on Sept. 20th – JP will bring his along if weather good and required.
- Treasurer’s report
Paul updated the trustees with the latest figures. There was £61 income from the hire of the hall. Cheques were paid – £50 to Chris Solway for grounds upkeep and £25 to Sue Gush.

Entertainment
Tim Maddams would like to do another Hall & hearty event at the hall after November. We should have charged him £40 for the hall hire plus £25 for cleaning afterwards. EW to contact him.
Duck Dash on Sunday Sept.1st – Details of this event were sorted out: Antonia and Angela to do the selling of the ducks, Neville and Chris S to be in the water. Cream teas and drinks Liz & Teresa to organise cake-makers. Wellie Wanging John Pearce, Rob on the PA, Children’s games Eleanor & Bernard (need to check that the Bird’s field is available for the games (EW to ask). Dog show – Richard or Alex Brain to be asked to judge it again. Carolyn Selley will do pony trap rides.
The next Free Friday will be on Friday September 20th at 7pm in the hall.
The Autumn Supper will be on Saturday 26th October at 7.30pm. Liz to organise this.

Building Works:
There has been no building works. A gutter is leaking – JP to sort this out.

Inventory – this has not yet been completed

Teresa agreed to donate a dog bowl for use at the hall.
Teresa suggested doing a pudding and pie evening – the idea was well received.
