Who was the best dressed? OK, it was me in my referees outfit!! or maybe not.
Special thanks to Eleanor and her cooks who created some amazing lasagnes – yes I know we overcatered but we were not expecting 12 people to drop out on the day when all the food had already been prepared.
Rob created a very special atmosphere with his music, light show and games and we were all extremely grateful to him.
At midnight we had fireworks thanks to Neville and Rodney.
The dancing stopped at 2am. At 11am the same morning a dozen people came to the hall to help clear up the mess – you could tell that some had had a late night! After all the expenses (food, licence, fireworks etc.) had been paid it would appear that a sum of just over £30 was left – the final amount was sent, as arranged, to the Philippines disaster fund. Well done and thank you.
