We had a hugely successful Harvest Supper on Saturday 22nd of October
with 65 of us gathered in the hall for a wonderful meal ( thanks Liz & and all those people who contributed something salad-wise or in the pudding department.) What a banquet!
The table quiz of pictures and anagrams was won by the super-intelligent Trenchard family with a tiny bit of help from Bandy Woman (anagram!).
The raffle prizes seemed to be the best ever – hence a profit of £138 – well done Antonia with a little bit of help from her friend Tony.
Thanks also go to all those people who helped in so many different ways on the night, both old ( thanks Tony) and young ( well done Ted and Ella).
In total a profit of about £650 was made for the hall funds – which just goes to show you can have fun and contribute to the future of the hall at the same time – well done one and all.
