Umborne Ug 10k

For all of you over the age of 16, if you have not done it before, the Umborne Ug is a mostly off road 10k run amongst stunningly beautiful but hilly scenery, starting and finishing at Umborne Village Hall. The 10k starts at 11.00am. There is also a 4 mile walk mostly around the same course starting at 10.00am. There is also a 2.6k Fun Run (flat and mostly on road) at 11.10am. for younger runners aged 8-15 plus any adults who wish to take some exercise. Prizes will be awarded to the first 3 male and first 3 female runners. There will be helpful and encouraging marshals on the course, lots of markers, a water station at the half way point and magnificent cakes and hot/cold drinks before, during and afterwards.

There is NO entry fee. Entry is by donation – forms are available on the AVR website. Donations for the run and the food and drinks will go towards our new hall fund and will be most welcome.
