On Wednesday 20th October, 14 volunteers from the valley offered their services as marshals for the South West Police and Forces Cross Country Championship held at Beer Head. What glorious weather we were treated to! The event was organised by Gary Phillips and Garry Perratt with help from Chris Irving of Axe Valley Runners. The result of this effort was that we received a cheque for £350 for the New Hall funds. A huge thank you to all who helped with this event.
