Minutes of the meeting on 16 February were approved, subject to an amendment about JC canvassing Shute for bonds and gifts rather than KE, and signed by the chairman.

Umborne Ug 10k
For all of you over the age of 16, if you have not done it before, the Umborne Ug is a mostly off road 10k run amongst stunningly beautiful but hilly scenery, starting and finishing at Umborne Village Hall. The 10k starts at 11.00am. There is also a 4 mile walk mostly around the same course starting at 10.00am. There is also a 2.6k Fun Run (flat and mostly on road) at 11.10am. for younger runners aged 8-15 plus any adults who wish to take some exercise. Prizes …

Painting of the windows ( 3 coats of Sadolin) is now well under way and the plaster board is up inside, ready for the plasterers to come in and finish off. Then the electrics can be installed. Rob is so committed to painting windows that he spent his 51st birthday with paint brush in hand.
Maybe we should leave the plasterboard pink?!! Again this week the weather has been in our favour, long may it last.

Hire the Hall! – In the old hall, it was an experience you never forgot! The new hall, hopefully opening in September, will be a wonderful experience with its superb new facilities.
You can hire the whole Hall including tables, chairs, crockery etc., or just hire the car park if that meets your needs.
